Résumé: | Our study, aims at evaluating the convenience of cultivating wheat, barley and potatoes in a piece of land which is part of the exploitation;inBoufarik. We have therefor, adopted the SYS method(1980) consisting of a confrontation between climatic and pedological characteristics of the site on one side and those of each speculation on the other. We have thought it would be necessary to lead a climatic study after which we managed to establish the different climatic parameters as well as a pedological study consisting of the morphological characteristics of the profiles,followed by a physic-chemical analysis. The characteristics resulting from the study were a basis for the evaluation We have classified each type according its aptitude: Wheat, can be cultivated in the area represented by the six(6) profiles studied Being classified in the order Si, these areas present some physical strength such as: - coarse fragments and texture as well as strength related to the natural soil fertility (Organic matter). The convenience order for the culture of barley is Si, for the six (6) areas ,yet to be mentioned are the physical limitations such as: - Texture The areas studied have proven convenient for the culture of Potatoes, and are classified in the order S1 ,yet with some strength due to the natural soil fertility (Organic matter). The cultures chosen can be lead in the areas studied, however there may be some limitations that easy to overco In order to avoid the formation of (croûte de battance),some artificial work needs to be performed prior to the culture |
