Abstract

La prescription médicamenteuse fait partie des actes courants dans la pratique quotidienne du chirurgiendentiste. Lors des consultations, nous rencontrons outre les patients sans problème de santé, un grand nombre d’individus à l’état général altéré, physiologiquement ou pathologiquement. Cette modification de l’état général engendre une augmentation des risques (infectieux, hémorragiques, médicamenteux). Il est du devoir du chirurgien-dentiste de prescrire et de soigner selon les indications et contre-indications de chaque pathologie, état et traitement médicamenteux propre à chaque patient, afin de ne pas leur nuire. Summary Drug prescription is one of the common acts in the daily practice of the dental surgeon. During the consultations, we meet in addition to patients without health problems, a large number of individuals in an altered general state, physiologically or pathologically. This change in general condition leads to an increase in risks (infectious, hemorrhagic, drug-related). It is the duty of the dental surgeon to prescribe and treat according to the indications and contraindications of each pathology, condition and drug treatment specific to each patient, so as not to harm them.
