Creation of an airport mapping database for DABC airport and generating an aerodrome Chart - ICAO

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the development of an Airport Mapping Database (AMDB) for DABC Airport, using QGIS software. The objective of the study is to establish a comprehensive and accurate spatial database that encompasses critical airport infrastructure and operational information. The research methodology involves data collection from various sources, including aerial imagery, airport blueprints. Using QGIS, the collected data is processed, analyzed, and organized to create a detailed AMDB, which will be used to generate an Aerodrome Chart _ ICAO.
