dc.description.abstractThe Automation of sludge recirculation in a wastewater treatment plant uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) to control the process. In this case, the S7-1500 PLC using tia portal software is used to monitor and control the sludge levels in the aeration tank, control the recirculation pumps and air valves, and collect and store process data. Supervision is provided by a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to allow operators to monitor and control the process remotely. Automation and supervision improve process efficiency and reliability, while reducing operating and maintenance costs.fr_FR
