dc.description.abstractIn this work, we are going to study a major problem in the sector of the electrical networks, which is the improvement of the flow of power, and we will use two methods to solve the problem of the flow of power in order to reach objectives such as the reduction of active losses. Our work consists in applying an optimization method and this thanks to the use of a ''Modified Search Algorithm'' MGSA with and without consideration of compensation tools ‘‘Flexible AC current transmission systems '' FATCS of the type ‘‘Thyristor current series compensator '' TCSC. We obtained acceptable results in terms of reduction of active transmission losses. Both methods have been validated on the IEEE 14bus network. Tests on this network have been validated, and we can see that with these methods, we find a vector of optimal solutions using only the information on the objective functions.fr_FR
