Crude oil refining is a continuous and high volume process, with very high raw material and energy costs, the naphtha obtained by atmospheric distillation from crude oil does not match the market needs profile either in quantity or in quality. To solve this problem, the catalytic reforming process is adapted to carry out molecular transformations that achieve a good quality of gasoline. This thesis presents the modelling and optimisation approach of the continuous regeneration process of the CR 401 catalyst at the Algiers refinery. The catalyst used in the reaction section needs to be regenerated after its passage in the reactors. It follows a continuous regeneration circuit with the process. The mathematical model is used to monitor the regeneration process and to determine the optimum operating conditions for the regeneration loop.fr_FR
