Contribution à la mise en place d’une approche pour la surveillance des huiles diathermique en service

Abstract

The aim of this project is to study the TORADA Tc 32 diathermic oil used in the GASSI TOUIL gas treatment plant at the Boumerdès research and development center. The main aim of our study is to find a solution to the thermal cracking of diathermic oil and preserve its properties for longer, while preserving plant integrity and minimizing costs. The shelf life of TORADA Tc 32 diathermic oil is generally three years or more, but according to the results of characterizations, the oil we have degraded in a very short time (one year of its use), this deterioration of the oil can cause problems at the plant level. To remedy the above problems, we found it necessary to increase the pressure to 12 or 13 bar to reach the right temperature and avoid the risks.
