Abstract

We conducted a study on float glass for MFG Company, where we collected a set of samples of glass (finished product) that contains defects in order to carry out the necessary analyzes to know the quality of the defect and its chemical nature. Among the defects produced along the production line, we highlighted those that appear at the stage The formation that comes to us from the process of floating the glass on the tin inside the basin in order to trace its main source that causes its appearance, in addition to knowing the methods corrected for it and applying it. Finally, a study of the effect of the appearance of such defects in general on the general yield of production.
