| Abstract: | Composting household and similar waste are a method of recovering the organic fraction based on aerobic fermentation in the presence of oxygen and microorganisms that will degrade and fertilize this fraction to produce compost. This operation has undergone extensive development over time, and given that it takes long period, the general idea was born to improve and accelerate the activity of microorganisms, it consists of a composting bin equipped with an Arduino development board which reads and controls the various items of equipment installed in the bin to provide a favorable environment for microorganism activity (intelligent composter). The aim of this study and realization is to optimize the waste degradation process and exploit the optimal environment for microorganisms. |
