| Abstract: | The building sector is currently one ofthe world's largest consumers of energy. Indeed, on a global scale, buildings are responsible of 40% of annual energy consumption, and up to 50% if we include energy consumption during construction. The cost that this causes, the share of green house gas emissions that are at the origin of global warming linked to the energy consumption of buildings is estimated at 30% while at the same time energy demand is expected to double by 2050 (PNUE). So we need to find sustainable short-term solutions for a clean environment and the welfare of future generations. To this end, we have proposed the HQE approach as a solution for building a sustainable and ecological building that will be able to meet the different challotges of the future, since this approach has proven successful in different areas of construction, whether residential, industrial or tertiary. Therefore, we have verified the relevance of this approach for hospitals, our study target. This research approach ultimately confirmed that the integration of the HQE approach contributes to ensure indoor comfort and minimize the impact of buildings on the environment. |
