| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to calculate the mode III stress intensity factor of a cracked circular section using the boundary collocation method. We study a circular section with central and non-central crack, with two types of boundary conditions: imposed stress and imposed displacement. The calculation is performed using Matlab software. The results showed an unstable propagation of the crack under imposed stress. In imposed displacement,it is unstable for small crack lengths, then stabilizes for long lengths. | fr_FR |
