The history of industrial automation is characterized by periods of rapid change in popular methods; these periods seem closely to world economics. the use of the industrial machines specially computerized numerical control machines or simply CNC machines, which became identifiable as a unique device in the 1960s, along with computer aided design (CAD) , and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) systems, characterizes the latest trends in the automation of manufacturing process .these technologies are leading industrial automation through another transition. Our work in this project is to study and design a prototype of a budget 3 axis CNC machine that can be used as an automatic milling machine for wood, plastic and aluminium, it also run as oxycutter, plasma cutter. We organized this project in four chapters. In the first one we covered general informations about some basics of the CNC machines and its evolution. The second is introducing functional analysis of the machine, which it explain the creation process of a product (CNC machine) starting from a simple ideas and needs and finishing with a technological solutions that can satisfied a need .The third chapter is about the design process from sketching, dimensioning and simulating using different softwares. The last chapter is talking about the electronics and wirings of the CNC machine with a simple guide for how we can run and control the machine GENERAL INTRODUCTIONfr_FR
