Abstract: This experimental study aimed to assess the biological activity of various gonadotropin combinations administered to immature Wistar rats. A total of 75 animals were included, divided into 8 groups for females (n = 40) and 7 groups for males (n = 35), treated with different combinations of FSH, LH, and hCG at three dose levels (low, medium, high). In females, treatment effects were evaluated through ovarian weight measurement and detailed histological examination of follicles under multiple magnifications. The results showed a significant dose-dependent increase in ovarian weight, along with a clear enhancement of follicular maturation, particularly in the group receiving FSH+LH+hCG. In males, the impact of the treatments was assessed on seminal vesicles and prostate. Gonadotropin administration induced a dose-dependent hypertrophy of accessory sex organs, accompanied by marked histological changes, including thickening of the secretory epithelium and increased luminal content. Altogether, these findings demonstrate the biological effectiveness of the gonadotropin treatments and highlight their role in triggering sexual maturation and the development of reproductive structures in the immature rat model
