INTERVENTION DU PHARMACIEN DANS LES UNITES DE PSYCHIATRIE

Abstract

Résumé : Le pharmacien intervient dans les soins des patients en psychiatrie, par des taches multiples qui dépassent l’ancien rôle limité par la dispensation des médicaments. En tant que pharmacien clinicien ou hospitalier dans un service de psychiatrie, il assure l’optimisation de la prise en charge des patients sur le plan thérapeutique (efficacité, sécurité et le cout) et la minimisation des risques d’iatrogénie médicamenteuse. Summary: Pharmacist intervention in psychiatric units The pharmacist intervenes in the care of patients in psychiatry, by multiple tasks that go beyond the old role limited by the dispensing of drugs. As a clinical or hospital pharmacist in a psychiatric ward, he ensures the optimization of therapeutic patient management (efficacy, safety and cost) and the minimization of the risks of iatrogenic medication.
