Enquête sur la prise en charge des patients sous Antithrombotiques en chirurgie orale en Algérie

Abstract

La présente étude avait pour but d‟avoir un aperçu global sur les connaissances, les attitudes et les pratiques des médecins dentistes vis-à-vis des patients soumis à un traitement antithrombotiques devant subir des actes buccodentaires en Algérie. Et de ce fait, il a fallu d‟abord avoir les idées sur l‟appréhension générale sur la prise en charge des patients sous antithrombotiques en chirurgie orale. Nous nous sommes attachés à recueillir des réponses des praticiens dentistes exerçant en Algérie, en libéral et/ou en milieu hospitalier. Nous avions établi un échantillon de 98. D‟après les résultats de cette étude, nous remarquons que 33% des participants de l‟étude ne connaissent pas les recommandations de la SFCO de 2015, et que parmi les 67% qui les connaissent, il ya 61% des praticiens seulement qui les appliquent. Il apparaît donc nécessaire de poursuivre la diffusion de ces recommandations afin d‟améliorer la gestion péri -opératoire des patients sous antithrombotiques et de réduire le risque thromboembolique chez ces patients. Abstract : The aim of this study was to have a global overview of the knowledge, attitudes and practices of dentists in front of patients undergoing antithrombotics treatment to undergo oral procedures in Algeria. And therefore, it was first necessary to have ideas on the general apprehension on the management of patients on antithrombotics in oral surgery. We endeavored to collect answers from dental practitioners practicing in Algeria, in liberal practice and/or in hospitals. We established a sample of 98 practitioners. According to the results of this study, we notice that 33% of the participants of the study do not know the recommendations of the SFCO of 2015, and that among the 67% who know them, there are only 61% of practitioners who apply them. It therefore appears necessary to continue the dissemination of these recommendations in order to improve the perioperative management of patients on antithrombotics and to reduce the risk of thromboembolism in these patients.
