dc.description.abstract | We have developed a prototype of an intelligent shelving system designed to optimize storage management for businesses and organizations. The system consists of multiple closed shelves that maximize space utilization. To locate specific items, we created a supervisor screen using Unity software, connected to an SQLite database. By simply entering the item name, the corresponding shelf automatically opens, and the supervisor screen displays its position among the six positions in each shelf. The system utilizes Unity for real-time visualization of shelf movements and employs Arduino with Nema 17 steppers and A4988 drivers for control. Our project overcomes challenges such as selecting an appropriate database. The intelligent shelving system significantly improves efficiency by directly targeting and locating items, resulting in optimized space utilization and reduced search and inventory management time. | fr_FR |
