dc.description.abstract | The current-voltage characteristic of a PV module is subject to variations depending on climatic conditions, resulting in a nonconstant power output. This means that the power generated depends heavily on the conditions to which the PV module is exposed. In order to maximize power generation at any time, photovoltaic systems generally use MPPT (Maximum Power Point Trackers). The function of these devices is to search for the point of operation where the power output is maximum and to maintain operation at that level, using a specific algorithm. The literature offers a wide range of control algorithms to search for the maximum power point. In this study, simulation results are obtained for the algorithms "perturb and Observe", "Fuzzy logic" and "Variable step size P&O" using MATLAB. The rest of this work we studied the different types of choppers (dc/ dc converter). | fr_FR |
