LE NUMERIQUE EN PROTHESE FIXEE

Abstract

La Conception et Fabrication Assistée par Ordinateur connait un essor considérable et devient un des éléments incontournables de la profession, elle ne cesse d'évoluer et de se perfectionner. Elle permet d’améliorer les traitements proposés aux patients, les rendre plus prévisibles, plus confortables, plus esthétiques, plus biologiques. Dont la prothèse fixée qui nécessite pour sa réalisation, l’enchainement de plusieurs étapes que l’introduction du numérique a permis de les réduire tout en augmentant la précision et améliorant les qualités des traitements prothétiques. Le gain de temps, la procédure simplifiée, et la facilité de production qu’offre la CFAO exige sa présence de plus en plus dans notre pratique pour assurer le confort du patient et répondre à ses souhaits. Abstract : Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing is experiencing considerable growth and is becoming one of the essential elements of the profession, it is constantly evolving and improving. It allows to improve the treatments proposed to the patients, to make them more predictable, more comfortable, more aesthetic, more biological. One of these is fixed prosthesis, which requires several steps for its realization, which the introduction of digital technology has reduced while increasing the precision and improving the quality of prosthetic treatments. The time saving, the simplified procedure, and the ease of production that CAD/CAM offers requires its presence more and more in our practice to ensure the comfort of the patient and to meet his wishes.
