Résumé:
This thesis presents the design and implementation of First Sky, a web application developed
to digitize and automate the preparation of flight dossiers for the DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft
operated by Star Aviation in southern Algeria. The application integrates multiple elements
of flight planning, including weather data (TAF/METAR), NOTAMs, ATC flight plans, and
weight and balance calculations through Excel-based loadsheets.
By replacing manual processes with a digital platform, First Sky significantly reduces the time
and risk involved in flight preparation. The system provides a complete solution that
centralizes all operational data, offers user-friendly interfaces for pilots and dispatchers, and
supports updates to aircraft configurations and flight parameters.
This project demonstrates the effectiveness and importance of digital tools in enhanci ng
operational safety, accuracy, and efficiency—especially in remote aviation environments.
