Utilisation du Rituximab au sein du CHU de Blida : exemple du service d'hématologie sur l'année 2020

Abstract

Plus d’une dizaine d’anticorps monoclonaux sont actuellement indiqués dans de multiples pathologies. Parmi ces anticorps monoclonaux le rituximab qui est utilisé de plus en plus en oncohématologie et plus particulièrement pour le traitement des lymphomes. L’étude approfondie des propriétés pharmacologiques du rituximab, de son mécanisme d’action, de ses contre-indications ainsi que ses interactions avec d’autres médicaments, a permis aux spécialistes d’élargir ses indications thérapeutiques. Utilisé en monothérapie ou en association (poly chimiothérapie), pour le traitement des lymphomes non hodgkinien, les leucémies lymphoïdes chroniques ou le purpura thrombopénique idiopathique, le rituximab prouve son efficacité en termes de survie et de progression de la maladie. Les études effectuées en Algérie, comparées aux études étrangères démontrent l’efficacité du rituximab, d’où l’importance de son utilisation en mono ou en poly chimiothérapie, ce qui explique l’augmentation de son cout relatif à l’augmentation de sa consommation annuelle. Abstract :More than a dozen monoclonal antibodies are currently indicated in multiple pathologies, among these monoclonal antibodies rituximab which is used more and more in onco-hematology and more specifically for the treatment of lymphomas. The study of the pharmacological properties of rituximab, its mechanism of action, its contraindications and its interactions with other medicines, has allowed specialists to expand its therapeutic indications. Used in monotherapy or combination (polychemotherapie), for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphomas, chronic lymphoid leucemies or idiopathic thrombopenic purpura, rituximab proves its effectiveness in terms of survival and disease progression. The Studies carried out in Algeria, compared to foreign studies, demonstrate the effectiveness of rituximab, hence the importance of its use in mono or poly chemotherapy, which explains the increase in its cost related to the increase in its annual consumption.
