Abstract

As part of the dissertation project we propose by this

work a study on the influence of the aging behavior on the

microstructural evolution of a Duplex DSS 2205 stainless

steel during heat treatments ranging from holding time of 1 / 2h

to 3h for temperature 850C ° followed by quenching, in order

to theoretically demonstrate the effect of phase and

precipitation transformations, after heat treatment, on the

hardness behavior of duplex steels
