dc.description.abstract	This thesis is based on a practical experience conducted during the renovation of an old medium voltage substation at Sonelgaz, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the safety of operators and electrical devices. The focus is on studying the replacement of static protection with an automation system. A comprehensive simulation was carried out using TIA Portal to evaluate the performance of the Siemens automation system. The obtained results allowed for an analysis of the impact of this replacement on the safety of operators and electrical devices.	fr_FR
