dc.description.abstract |
Predictive control has become an essential tool in many fields, especially in linear
systems. In this work, we define generalized predictive control (GPC) to control the
speed of a DC motor. We modeled and characterized the motor to obtain its CARIMA
model. After obtaining the generalized predictive control model, we programmed it in
the Siemens S7-1200 programmable logic controller using the SCL language using the
TIA Portal software and created a human-machine interface (HMI) to monitor speed
changes. |
