Résumé:
The aim of this work is to study the adsorption in single compound systems and on the two
ferric oxyhydroxides .
In the course of this study, the adsorbents were characterised by several SEM, FTIR and
XRD methods. These analyses confirmed the formation of both crystalline and amorphous
iron oxyhydroxides, which can be obtained in good yields.
The results of the adsorption kinetics of cadmium (Cd) as a solute alone reveal elimination
rates in excess of 80% on the two adsorbents.
Modelling of the adsorption isotherms clearly shows that the Freundlich model is the most
representative for all the adsorbents, with a satisfactory fitting coefficient .
