dc.description.abstract Our work focuses on the study of the performance of the catalytic reforming process of naphtha in the presence of highly stable, selective and reactive monometallic or bimetallic catalysts whose objective is to valorize the naphtha resulting from the atmospheric distillation of crude oil, while increasing its octane number. Catalytic reforming is a crucial technique in the petroleum industry to improve the properties of gasoline, in particular the octane rating. Reforming is done by the reactions of dehydrogenation of naphthenes and dehydro-cyclization of paraffins in order to obtain aromatics with a high octane number. This process succeeded in raising the low octane rating of naphtha from 101.6 to naphtha with a minimum octane rating of 102 fr_FR
