dc.description.abstract |
The aim of this study is to calculate the restitution ratio of the potential energy G
numerically for a rectangular band, which includes a central crack. The calculation is based on
the Rice J integral, it is preformed using ABAQUS numerical simulation software. The obtained
results are compared with the theory.
Two calculations have been performed. The first by fixing the length of the crack a and varying
the length L for several lengths, the second has been released by fixing the length L and varying
the length of the crack a in a defined interval. |
