dc.description.abstract |
The use of natural fibers is in expansion in the field of the building to replace the
insulation materials classics by natural materials. In this case, these fibers are used
alone or in combination with other materials, in order to create materials of large work
or finishing with a higher temperature resistance. In other sectors, natural fibers are
associated with polymers in order to train of composite materials whose applications are
increasing that this either in the field of electronics, automotive or of the building. The
first aim of the use of natural fibers in this case is the mechanical reinforcement of the
polymer. However, the thermal behavior of these materials must also in some cases be
taken into account, either because that one wishes to allow the material to evacuate the
heat or on the contrary because it wishes the latter possesses good insulating properties |
