Résumé:
With the constant evolution of connectivity demands and the increasing intricacy of network infrastructures, many organizations are re-evaluating the effectiveness of conventional network models. In this context, SD-WAN has emerged as a promising alternative, offering smarter traffic handling, improved scalability across multiple sites, and better overall network efficiency.
This project, conducted in collaboration with the company Ooredoo, explores and contrasts two different networking approaches: the conventional network setup relying on standard routing protocols, and the SD-WAN model, which is designed for more adaptable and centralized traffic control. The evaluation takes place in a complex network setting, involving various connection types and hardware components.
Our goal is to assess how these two network designs perform in terms of speed, security, adaptability, and ease of administration. Based on this analysis, we aim to offer practical insights that may assist in deciding whether a shift towards SD-WAN can better support modern enterprise connectivity needs.
